Thanks Frank, I found it and have corrected it.

Lwetzel, I agree, and many people in here will too, that more basic information is needed. That is also why we have this tips and tricks thread under each software forum, and also why some of us are collecting their own work and let other people use it.

Thank you. Yes, basic information seems to be what I'm most often struggling with these days.

@Iwetzel, @Inger
Is there a way to make the search ACTION default to the user's device preference? For instance, I don't have bing on android my default is set to Chrome.
I should have something clever to say... but I don't.

I don't know of any way to let it pick a user's default search engine, but instead of bing you can type e.g. google, lycos or some other search engine. But you can't leave it empty.

@Inger

What if you added a dropdown list of search engines and passed it as a variable. I was thinking about this when I was working on my issue.

Might not be quite what you're after, but it works quite well.

See: https://www.championfreight.co.nz

Select the search icon in the top right and start typing (desktop).

@Bainn

I believe what @midcentury was looking for was a way of choosing which major search engine is doing the search. Believe your example (which is great) is an internal search of your site.

Is your search button part of your menu?
