Currently, we only allow direct publishing to S-Drive. However, you can export your website using any FTP program; such as Places or Direct FTP. To do this, click the Export button on the toolbar and export the project to your desired location. Now, use any FTP program to upload your website to your server and you should be good to go!

If you find this process difficult, you will find using the one-click publishing feature in the program very easy! Simply setup a Sdrive account, and in RSD go to Settings > Publish, enter your CoffeeCup username and password, choose the address you wish to publish to and click publish! Yes, it is that easy. :P

When do you expect or do you plan to add other publishing options. I do like the Sdrive option but I have paid for a year of server space with another company and would prefer to use that until it expires.

Only allowing publishing to Sdrive is an inconvenience.

Some designers publish to the client's server or hosting provider so having that option within the program would be great.

I use Filezilla and Direct FTP from CC and like them both and this is a simple workaround but RSD is a great program and an FTP client should be included for direct publishing.

Thanks again for this great software. I am testing it now and plan to switch from WebsiteX5 Professional.

You can publish to wherever you like, but you need to export your file first. Your project file has the extension .rsd, which is not understood by web servers and browsers. When exporting your project (to a folder on your machine) the .rsd file is converted to normal html, css and image files (and whatever else you have placed on your site), and they can be uploaded to any hosting service and displayed in a browser.

The publishing limitation to only S-Drive is a show stopper for me.

My reply from 2016, right above your comment, Leon, still holds valid. You can publish to any web server.
