Picture links to blank pages - Post...
The site has a page linking to manufacture sites. All are set up the same - to a target blank page with the manufactures site. Some work some do not. But when they aren't working for the most part it is trying to link to a page within the site.

I think that the non-working ones may be where the full address wasn't included in the url address box. It should normally start with 'http://' or 'https://'.

Tried that and some worked but not all. Had to change them in CC HTML Editor

I just tried all the links and they worked. Try clearing your browser cache.

I had to go in with HTML editor to add the https:// - not sure why it wouldn't happen in RSD. Never had the problem before.

Byron,
RSD is probably not set to do https because of the amount of sites that don't have a secure connection. If they had RSD set for that everyone who doesn't have a secure connection would have to change that every time they added a link.
There are probably a lot of settings that everyone would like to have that can be turned on or off to make RSD faster or easier to use but the amount of time to code all that in would be enormous.

Because of the variety of forms of URL addresses (some with, and some without the www, some with http:// and some with https://), and because the tiniest typing error in a URL is likely to prevent the link from working, I do the following, and I guess that most others do the same -
(a) I go to the site in my browser and copy (Windows Ctrl-c) the full address from the browser address bar, and
(b) I paste that into the RSD2 Href box instead of the # sign that is there by default.
That is particularly useful when linking to a particular page in a website.
