On the wider view, trouble changins...

My customer wanted the header to go from green to blue, but I cannot seem to get the header to change in the wider views. I keep making break points in those views and nothing seems to work.

Would someone in the forum take an interest to take a look at this and suggest?

Probably find the backround color setting in the elements row section. Set it in the before the first breakpoint area and save.
The lower section of style or css has the code for the blue and the green below. That blue code is the hex code to enter for the change.
You do not want to add breakpoints: you want to change the element area before the first break point.

Hi Izzi, The problem is still showing up on my large monitor. When opening the site the large rendering has the green color background and the email is scrunched up into the above line of text. So the header in that breakpoint is not set to a large enough height.
This problem is probably not showing up on your computer. If you are working with a laptop without the 1080 resolution it probably will not show up.
You probably need to open your project on the RSD app and grab the top of the window and pull the window off the screen to the left quite a bit. Then grab the widow on the right side and stretch it out to the right filling up the screen. That hidden break point should then show up. Probably will fix it to just delete that break point. Then the green scrunched up header will stop showing on peoples screens with large monitors.

Hi Greg, I will try these methods. I have a 30'' wide computer and I still can't find that break. I have it stretched out to 1509, and the break is beyond that! I love that inpsector tab because i can scroll through and find the specs on rows and columns that are otherwise hard to grab... and... it will allow me to tab back to design to change things... i love that!

i hope i don't have to start all over again to get rid of the green.

even when i delete some of my media breaks, it still shows up.

When you get it opened up wide enough to see the wrong colored background, double click on the wrong colored background area header section and it opens up to the elements function row and then click on the background section and set in the blue color, will probably be changing from transparent to blue, use the hex code from the other blue color you want.
You will need to set in a max height of 600 pixels probably also. That to be done while still on that same elements row where you just made the color change but you will have to go back to Dimensions section from the background section. That will fix the scrunched up email with the upper line of text in the header.

Hi GregB, I made the site live now. Its at www.phoenixhealthinstitute.com I read your above comment and stretched my page out, double clicked the masthead area to open the design options... and it will not allow me to change the background color to blue... so i didn't pursue your further instructions.

But, somewhere along the way from yesterday to now, I made the background transparent in that larger version.

I still haven't solved the problem, but having a transparent background at least isn't that offensive.

I think that you was not allowed to change the background image because you had gradient or no image selected there so it went with the gradient for the grid background. You probably have to select the header area and then select image and then change the image from transparent to color hex code that you want.

Another thing that has been causing me problems is the gradient. I want to do a top to bottom white to black gradient like my original site. It keeps tiling on me and never goes all the way to the bottom of the pg. Keeps repeating. As yours is doing. I tried before in the past to solve this problem to no avail and have been trying in the last couple of days to solve it too to no avail. I have found though that if I change it to 90 degrees and go left to right that it then gradients down to the bottom of the pg and through all the different breakpoints it works correctly. I suspect that the problem is coming from setting the gradient way back when originating the site design with RLMP. I suspect that I probably used the tile setting there and am now stuck with it. Perhaps someone will chime in and enlighten me about the gradient and how to bring it to the bottom of pages and stop it from repeating on the vertical.
