I found this on the Foundation site: https://foundation.zurb.com/sites/docs/orbit.html

I'm trying to build the code in SD3.5 (Latest build) and I'm at a roadblock.

If you look at the code it has containers inside the li elements. I can't find a way to get anything inside those elements.

Since I haven't been able to devote a lot of learning time for the past 11 years I am a little rusty. My wife and I are now retired from working for other people and I will have a lot more time to get caught up (between fishing and gardening of course :D ).

If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. I just want a simple slider for three pictures on a restaurant site I rebuilt from 1990's code and just updated to SD. It's not any kind of a rush as the client likes her site so it will be a surprise for her.

Any help will be appreciated.

I have the orbit slider as a component, either straight from the box or with some styling going on

I'll go look at those and see if either one will work for what I need.

I do want to try and make a component out of the one that is supposed to be new as it has some nice features for a simple slider.

Thanks Wayan.

Your site is doing weird things. Broken links and not like it was a few days ago.
Thought you might want to know. (If you're not working on it.)

Use a list container
Bootstrap 5 CSS Grid.

I have your orbit file. I'm trying to upgrade orbit it to the version on the site I linked to in my original post.

Twinstream gave me what I was doing wrong but I still don't know how the author gets the span info in other than after export. I'd like to be able to do everything in SD3.

I assume your are talking about the button or bullets....

If you click on the button text and open the Text Edit Mode you can add a class to the span.....

<button type="button" class="btn"><span class="show-for-sr">Action</span></button>
Bootstrap 5 CSS Grid.

Yes, buttons and bullets. I think this is above my pay grade.

I never thought this would be this difficult. I guess I'm not 'seeing' something obvious.

When I created the Orbit, shortly after SD3 was launched, it was above my grade too. So I skipped some of it or found other ways. Now, if I were to rebuild it, I would do what Twinstream says. Maybe I will make an updated version, but right now I don't have time for it.
