It doesn't appear that there is an easy way to change the background color of this component as it is blue by default. How do you edit some of these properties that are "built-in" to the component as a whole and don't appear active under the tool bar properties when the item is selected?

You can easily change the background color of that. Select the Container and then go to the Design Pane and scroll down to the BACKGROUND section. Here you change the background color from Blue to whatever color you want to use.

Hi Scott, that's what I was actually trying to do, but it shows it as no color already and when you change it to any other color it doesn't update it. It's as if something is overriding the background color options.

I ended up dragging some of the component items out into another container and named it the .nav-bar class and was able to customize from there. As soon as I get to another stopping point in this project I will recreate this behavior again and provide you a link. Thanks!
