If you are trying to replace the navigation or any other part of your project, make sure to save a backup copy. That way, you will always have something to go back to if it fails.

And if you want to submit your project file here in the forum, it may be too big. Then you could add it to your Dropbox and give us the link, or if you're not using Dropbox, uploading the project file to your server and give us the link will also work.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Thank you. I'll see if I can replace mine with this one without blowing up my site!!.
I'm not sure how to add the Project file, but I can try to figure that out when I get home this evening. Seems like it should be simple to fix the hamburger, as it opens when I click on it; it just immediately closes again.

I am very perplexed as to why you are seeing "true" instead of "false" in mine. I checked and rechecked that and republished at least 5 times last night.

There has to be something in the code telling it to collapse the menu once I click to open.

Thank you for that video. It was hard to follow exactly what you were clicking on sometimes, and I blew up the Navbar first. I walked through the video a couple of more times, and finally, something clicked into place, and my Menu now works correctly. Thank you for being patient with me.

Inger, thank you for the idea. I looked at that first before I saw the other reply, and it would have been cool to start with, but replacing it looked messy. I have it in my toolkit for the next site.

Again, I appreciate both of you stepping in to help me.

Hi! Sorry, for reviving an old thread, but I'm having this same exact issue. I added a hamburger stack while building my site based on the carrera customs template and I assumed it would work, but the menu vanishes when it's fully open in mobile view. I've walked through all the steps multiple times, double-checking and triple-checking everything. The only real difference is I can't add the "glyph" option for some reason, when I try to force-add it I get a warning that says "Duplicate class provided: glyph", and then sitedesigner removes "glyph" after I click "ok". I'm running bootstrap4 4.4.1 if that helps. Also, the youtube video link on page 2 or 3 no longer works, it seems the video has been deleted. What were the steps in the video that helped?

Rather than trying to mend the problem hamburger stack, it might be easier to back up your current project, create a copy of it under a different name (using File > 'Save as ...') and experiment with other menus.

Inger's 'Resp. Dropdown Navbar' and 'Hamburger Menu' might be suitable. They're free and available for the various frameworks, and the Bootstrap ones are at https://mock-up.coffeecup.com/bootstrap.html#nav .

Thank you for the response! That's a good point, I'm too hung up on trying to get this specific one to work. My site is 98.2% done lol. I haven't thought about switching navbars and hamburgers. I'll work on implementing that. Thank you again!
