I'm building a new website for my daughter's wedding photography business. I've built the first page and it looks great and was pretty easy to do once I played with it for a bit. I included button links to take the viewer to new pages, such as "about me", photo-galleries, her Zenfolio site (that's where she does her selling because it connects directly to the photo labs she uses), and so forth. My problem is I don't seem to be able to correctly link those other pages so that the button takes the viewer to the desired page, or anywhere for that matter. I don't find anything in the tutorials that is really helpful either. We are pretty good with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and related graphic design type products, but I'm pretty much a novice at web design, so this is all new to me. Any help you can provide on getting from one page to the next will be appreciated.

Good article! I'm trying to do the same now. But, I have text. I guess I didn't create links when I made them? So they are plain text. How can I replace them with text-links or button links or something? I already have them on all pages, but need to add internal links to all of them.

I do see that if I enter text edit mode,there is a place to enter a URL at the top. When I click on the "+" it asks for title and url. Not sure what I enter there.

Yers thats the place to enter the address where you want the text link to go to, the title is what would be displayed to the visitor who hovers over the text

example url = http://www.whateversite you want.com

title = this link takes you to www.whateversite you want.com
you can put anything you want in the title

Hello again forgot to mention that you should highlight the text you want to make a link on in text editor

If you just want the text to link to internal page on your site

then

url = name-of-page.html

Thanks. I think I finally figured out the internal links....just have to put /whateverpage.html and that works.....I think.
