Mobile Menu not working - Post ID 273928

Hey guys,

I am making some final touches to my site which I've been working on almost nonstop for a couple weeks, and so it's important I get a little insight on this.

I was able to create a mobile menu from components that is supposed to conform to mobile screens and then stretches at greater resolution. It shows on computer, not so much on mobile.

I'm also a little behind on making my links work to where they don't default to the bottom of the page being linked to and would rather have it show at the top.

Lastly, there is a picture I will be linking with that doesn't center itself in the column when it expands on the computer or when viewed at a longer angle on mobile screens.

Thanks!

with the image make sure you have left / right margins set to auto (lowest breakpointpoint first)

Here you go Wayan: http://atactactical.coffeecup.com

first thing is to get rid of the # on your links

so instead of #contact-us.html

it's just contact-us.html etc etc

or if you are wanting to scroll down to the contact us section at the bottom of the page,, then you need give that section a unique ID (eg: contact) then the link would be

#contact

Thanks Wayan! That helps with the links! However, I am still having problems with centering the image link for the holsters. It is already placed on auto from the mobile screen. And I still need to figure out about the navigation which will be a problem should someone access the site from mobile.

Jonathan, I had a look at your site. Some of those # are still there preventing the navigation.
Another thing: I wouldn't make the text size that small if I were you. Hard to read, even on large screens.

Thanks for the feedback Inger. I am making several changes before publishing again.

Speaking of which I am not sure exactly why the site doesn't conform to the greatest span. Maybe the text has something to do with it.

Not sure what you are thinking of there. Do you mean you want to have the contents covering the whole width of the viewport? If so, you need to set the row max-width to none.

So let's see if I can clarify.

As far as the picture element goes, I managed to get it to center itself in its respective container. You just center the text and change the is to Inline block.

That leaves the navigation menu, which doesn't even show on mobile even with the menu button intact. The problem with the button is that it does not function like it should i.e. Where a list of the different page options drop to conform to the screen.

I experimented on another site with a similiarities component element that does drop down like I want, but A) I'd rather know what I'm dealing with on the backend for future reference and B) I'm hoping I don't have to start over with the navigation menu to produce the desired effect.

I guess if push comes to shove I could just foreboding the drop down and just have the menu be like everything else.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
