Menu button Background? - Post ID 284366
Hi, I have been working on a nested menu but have one button that acts odd?
Its the products button on this test site.

The rsd is in that directory also.

Not sure what I'm missing?
Thanks for any help Jdee

In what way is it acting odd? I see it has a line of sub-buttons that become visible when hovering over it, and that the background colour in hover state changes on wide screens but not on narrow ones. Is that what you call odd? If you want the colour change to happen also for small screens, you have to keep the slider left of the first breakpoint when applying it.
Or do you mean something else?

On wide screen the background turns white on the products button.
I think the settings for backgrounds are all the same for all screen sizes.
Its probably something simple I'm over looking.
Jdee
Also when hovering over it you can see the right background color flash for just a second.

I see what you mean, and like you, I haven't found where the settings for that button differs from the other ones. It would be interesting to see if someone else can figure that out.
To get rid of it you would have to select the button and then click the reset button in the design pane. In there, you select 'all styles'. You need to do that for regular, hover and visited states. That is a bit drastic as it will affect all those buttons, so be sure to make a copy of the file to look at when you apply the styles again.

Removing the Foundation 'menu' class from the List Container messes up the layout, but demonstrates that it is that Foundation 'menu' class that causes the problem. I think the other buttons would have the same situation if they too had sub items. In other words, I suspect that there is no problem to be found, but just a feature of that Foundation class.
If one keeps that menu class but removes the other two Foundation classes, I find that the Your CSS (Read Only) shows no settings at all in main.css. There seems therefore no setting change that can be made to overcome the matter.

Thanks for having a look, really it still looks OK to me so I might use it that way.
I was just going nuts trying to find what I did wrong
Thanks again for the help Jdee
