Links disappearing when change target

Hi there all from SUNNY BALI (no danger of snow here :D)

2 questions please

1/ It may be a bug in the beta version (or it could be me doing something silly)
I have the need to change internal links on one of my sites, (the links are a mixture of text within paragraphs, text links, and list items (unordered list). So I highlight the unordered list item link and then open the link editor (using the pencil type icon) make my changes to the target for that link, press apply and bammm the whole thing disappears. All thats left is a space where it used to be,

2/ I understand the need to give meaningful and memorable class and ID names, my approach to this might seem unorthodox and long winded but hey it works for me, and I have the time anyway. I usually let the system provide default class and ID names (except for things like body-row, body col etc which I know will be the same for all pages ) until my design and pages are ready, then I go through every page re-naming the classes and the ID's accordingly, (this I find helps me to identify and name the classes & Id's with more relevant and memorable names.)
My question is - A/ what happens to the old class and ID names, are they overwritten with the new class & ID ? or is the new class & ID name added to the CSS (in which case this becomes enormous and half of which is redundant)
B/ Is there a way to clear the class and ID and start again ?
Hope thats clear enough to figure out what I'm about.

Thanks in advance
Have a great day wherever in the world you are.

Hi there,

press apply and bammm the whole thing disappears.

This is unusual behavior. I would open a support ticket with CC and upload your project file for them to take a look at.

My question is - A/ what happens to the old class and ID names, are they overwritten with the new class & ID ? or is the new class & ID name added to the CSS (in which case this becomes enormous and half of which is redundant)
B/ Is there a way to clear the class and ID and start again ?

First of all, from my experience, its best to name your classes as you are setting them up. You can do it later but it becomes a big pain in the rear.

Secondly, Yes the classes are overwritten when you rename them. I had a bad habit of not naming them which made my css file very large.

Hope this helps.

That should most certainly not be happening. ;)

If you could attach a screenshot of what you see and upload your RSD project file, I would be happy to look at what is going on. Please also state what version/build of RSD you are currently using.

Hello Scott & Steve from here in Sunny Bali

Very sorry for late reply to your responses I had to go to Java again and no Internet there.

Scott - It seems my old age is creeping up on me, my eyes aren't what they used to be - when I thought I was highlighting the list text, it appears that I wasn't highlighting all of the text so when I changed the link thats when it dissapeared. - Anyway got to get myself a new pair of glasses it seems.
Sorry to have caused a jutter .

Steve, thanks for the response, as long as the classes/Id get overwritten I shall continue to do it the way I have always done it, yes time consuming, but I have all the time in the world here in Bali,I haven't owned or needed a watch for over 20 years now (sometimes don't even know or care what day it is). I just find it easier to give those babies a name after everything is completed mostly because I can change my mind over designs many many times during the development process.

Thanks to all at CC great App & all on the forums great advice given with knowledge and patience.

Have a great day wherever in the world you are.
