image placement within a paragraph...

Hi All,
I am trying to manage the placement of an image within a paragraph element.
I can successfully add the image and float it left or right, but it always aligns to the top line of the paragraph.
Does anyone know how can I move it down a line or two whiteout obscuring the text of the paragraph?
Thx in advance
Cheers Pete

Hi Peter,
Take a look at this article. It's for RLM but the same should apply for RSD.

Thx Eric. The use of display : inline will improve appearance a bit, but the article baically highlights the issue I am having - the pic aligns to the top of the paragraph and cannot be moved down.

Did you try adjusting the margins?

The tempation is to experiment with the margins of the picture, but I found no success that way. Adjusting the margins of the paragragh seems to do the trick.

With the picture at the top left and the paragraph flowing to the right and below it, I -
1. set a negative top margin on the paragraph to bring the picture to the position I want;
2. set an equal but positive top margin on the column containing the picture and the paragraph.
