I've gone through the turotials but cannot find an easy way to get the simplistic results I require.

I need.... (Mah shoppin' list!!! )
100% width no matter what resolution the viewer has.
Links to each page NOT incessantly scrolling pages.
Text that simply wraps images which are either left or right set.

But I cant see how to get these foundational elements in place.
Everything seems hell bent on me adding massive boxes with tiny content.

You can talk techie. I've been into internet technologies and design since 1995. used to be the network manager for NatWest Bank for the south of England. Tech and me are good.

But I'm floundering here.

To make the text wrap around an image
The container holding the image & text needs to be set to "Block"
The image needs to be the first element in the container and set to either float left or float right depending on which way round to want the wrapping
you might want to just give a small margin left or right (depending on which side the image is in just to push the text away a little bit

as for the other things hard to give help/advice whaen we can't see what it is you are trying to achieve, & how you are doing it

either a link to your project somewhere, or Zip the project file up & place it here on this thread, then we will be able to better see what you are after & where/why you are struggling

It would also help if you let us know which framework you are using
