I wonder if someone can help me with a trick or a way to protect the photographs we publish on a site built with Site Designer, especially when it's about a photographer. Thanks in advance!

Do you mean site designer (sd) or responsive site designer (rsd)

It all depends on what you consider protected. Anything published and available for view is at risk of being grabbed. A large water mark across the images is usually enough to discourage theft because of the time required to Photoshop it out.

As Eric says there is always a risk of anyone grabbing one,

There are other things that you can do without plastering a watermark over your images, and although some of the things are the same for SD or RSD some are different, which is why I asked which app you mean, because you posted in the forum for Responsive Site Designer, but mentioned: : "Site Designer" which are 2 different apps and 2 different ways to achieve the same results.

It is a bit fiddly and adds a bit of weight to the project file size and to be honest you can never really stop the determined ones just make it difficult & harder for them so they may give up before succeeding
oh and it also depends on which framework you are using in whichever app you are using

I'm using Responsive Site Designer. As you say, is almost impossible avoid the "determined" steal the images but if you make it difficult may be desist. Please let me know what's your advise. Thanks in advance !!
