Hello Tim,
There is, apply a margin left or right to the buttons, which in turn will push them apart.

I understand I am looking for a way to set the margins for the buttons, I see no setting for this, although I do see the parameter in the inspector window set at 0, which is read-only.

I found the margin setting >> its's located under dimensions
