I highly doubt that will change. Its clearly been limited for program stability especially when you take symbols into account. Imagine having a 500 page website and you update a symbol... it would probably crash the app.

I have one client that i split up between two projects files. In my case it was used trailers and used trucks. So i built one project that had all the trailer pages. I duplicated the project and deleted all the trailer pages and created the truck pages.

I think Ive done something similar but doesn't that effect your SEO bit? I thought it was best to put your pages in the root for SEO as opposed to what I have done - a separate folder with essentially another site in there. Makes keeping the navigation a b***h but works.

Does that effect SEO?

Not at all. Maybe many years ago that was a thing but since the shift with Google in 2012 that hasnt been a thing. You do want nice clean page names and good meta stuff. There is a huge list of things that effect SEO but not that.

As for navigation what seems to be the issue.... other than you have to update it in both project files but symbols should do most of the heavy lifting.

I think its all in how you set up your structure. With my client I put the home page, contact page, and other general information pages in one project along with one main category of items. When I edit the other project I only update or add the new items from the other category. It does become a bit messy if you try to keep everything updated in both projects.

In the second project I only update and upload the new pages. If your in a habit of selecting all and uploading every time you do an update that could get messy.

Steve,

Forgive the stupid question but what do you mean "symbols" do the heavy lifting?
