what I was talking about with CC, was Expression Web's idea of "Dynamic Web Templates." One creates a basic web page as a template. These areas are not editable when a page is created from this template. This is not a template for just layout, it will include menus usually, headers, footers - whatever. One has to go to the template and make edits to propagate those changes throughout all the pages that were created based on that template. So far, the templates I have used in RSD are all editable in every area.
Yes I do understand what you mean. When CC implements libraries into RSD you will be able to do this. I am not sure what the exact mechanics of this will be but basically you create an element with your snippet of code (i.e a menu) then you use that element on the pages you want your menu to go. Once you edit the snippet of code it will change all the elements related to that snippet automatically. LOL I tried to be as non technical as I could
