Hi John
you might want to open a support ticket on this one to make sure you get the right info

That's good advice by Adrian.
I just find it interesting that I lost all my image paths in 2400 on install too. I had replace all my images but with it hanging up you might have to report it to see if they can repair it. I'm not too sure but If you roll back you may have to also open a back-up that you didn't open with 2401?

Also on 2401 I lost all my custom components

I think something went wrong with my installation. I downloaded again & re-installed again. All seems OK now.
It was a bit scary though, so my question is still pertinent, although maybe in a different form.
What should i do before installing an update, to make sure I can revert to the previous version if things go wrong?

Save a back up of your latest/most important project. open the backup with the latest install when you download an upgrade, if everything is ok continue as normal
if not remove the latest install (complete removal) & re-install the previous version, & load your original project file, (not the back-up copy)continue as normal..
(personally I have 2 back-ups of my latest project file, 1 on Hd on my pc the other in the cloud)
