select the column row container whatever your NAV is now
Go to the "Design" tab (looks like a pencil icon)

slide on down to the "Change Tag" bit

open & choose "NAV"

For SEO purposes, should I be doing that with things like the header sections too?

By the way, Wayan, I dropped that messy text section that you said, awhile back, would hurt our SEO. After dropping it, we dropped from about 5th in the organics, to 8th now. So I'm confused. But anyway...

What messy text section?
the ranking relies on many things, not least of all your competition tweaking their sites, so getting rid of something that is messy !! (still can't remember saying remove anything, maybe change it, clean it up move it etc) doesn't necessarily mean that was or is the cause of the ranking position dropping.
Put it back in, & see what happens then

I just uploaded the site I had on the 13th, into the /test folder of my existing site. It's the big section below the photo. When I added it, a few months back, you cautioned me that it would hurt SEO. It raised us from about 8th to about 6th.

And yes, it's getting to the point where the big companies, that can afford it, are likely retaining a SEO person on a monthly basis.

Still can't remember saying get rid of it, I think it was too many of the same keywords present, which could be construed as keyword stuffing, so to get rid of a couple of the repeated words or phrases, not to get rid of the whole paragraph

It doesn't have to be the big companies employing specialist SEO experts, even one man/woman bands need to address SEO almost every day,

The ranking isn't set in concrete one day No 5 next day Number 8,, so you need find out why & do something about it (whatever that might be)
