I got your file, but I need to find some app that can unzip a .rar file... Probably find something on the web...

Incorporating those files I have is easy. Since you are using Foundation, you cannot use the Carousel, but you can use Orbit instead, it does the same thing. Make sure you always use items that has 'ZF' behind the name.

I have only fixed that top image. I see that the row of cards probably should be centered, but since you are using grid, I'm not good enough with that to be of any help. If it had been flex, I could have centered them for you. I haven't touched the other pages as I didn't know if you wanted to have anything done with them.

Waw. Thank you. What was the problem? what did I do wrong?
I just got a template from the site ..the one with cats and I started to work on it.

It seams to me that this program is not that easy as advertised . When you get to work with it you find that there is more to it. I noticed that there are more themes like bootstrap, foundation, vanilla...etc...I don't know the difference. I wrote to the support and asked how can I make images to pop out in large when clicked on it...they told me I should use materialize... I tried and I noticed that some things that I did in my theme ...the cats one....did not work like that here...pffff...so I left that one behind.... I guess it's just for people that make money out of it otherwise it takes too much time to learn all the ins and outs...

The thing that was wrong in your file, was that you had not moved the slider far enough left when adding the image. You have to be in the left-most screen size when you add things, after that you can move the slider past the first breakpoint, make some changes, move the slider past the next breakpoint, make changes again if necessary and so on. There were a lot of code entries from your attempts that I had to remove. ;)

Bootstrap, Foundation, Materialize and Vanilla are different grid systems. That is, Vanilla seems to be at least two different systems, the one incorporated in SDv3 has no supporting css and js files, you need to find and add them yourself. Most people here in these forums use Foundation, then there is a fair amount of Bootstrap users, but the other two don't seem to have much of a 'congregation' here.

You obviously have started with Foundation, and that is actually a lucky choice, because of the lot of users who will be able to help if needed. I therefore would disagree with the person at support who said you should use Materialize. I don't know my way around that grid system, for all I know it may be a good system, but I don't think it would be wise to mix it with Foundation. You can make images enlarge when hovered or clicked on, also in Foundation. I have such a ready-made building block in my afore mentioned library, go to the right-most column look for 'Zoom on Hover' in the Gallery section. You could also take a look at the one called 'Image gallery' in the same section.

Dear friends,

When SD 3.0 came out a year ago I gave it a go, but got so frustrated that "I did not get it", so I kept using RSD.

HOWEVER I made a new effort last week when upgrading to the latest version of SD 3.5 and then found Suzanne´s excellent "VIDEO GUIDE FOR CREATING A BASIC PAGE IN SITE DESIGNER" realest April 2 (see https://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles … -designer/ )

This guide/article made all the difference to me and solved some of the mystery with Site Designer/CSS Grid Builder.

The major realization was that I can use SiteDesigner WITHOUT using any CSS Grid properties! I guess crystal clear to most of you, but not to me as a none daily user :-).

After realizing that I do not have to use any grid properties, just only build my pages with containers and elements, I now think "What is the problem?" :-).

I just wanted to share this, if someone apart from me have experienced problems understanding SiteDesigner.

I wish you all a lovely spring / Nils

You're absolutely right Nils, SD3.x can very well be used without the css grid system. I'm doing that all the time.
