OK, for whatever reason, I thought RSD only allowed subgrids in containers. When I did try to add it, it appears as a sliver of a column/subgrid, and I have to manually give it a pixel width. Would that be the expected behavior?

Item (c) in my original post mentioned that the width of the subgrid should be set at 100%. If that is overlooked, it will indeed appear only as a sliver.
