End of year house keeping, need some...

I guess getting things ship shape for the new year is not too uncommon? ;)
So I have done some 'make and mend' in my sharing library; deleted some old stuff, added some new stuff and given the actual page a wee makeover. In connection with that makeover I'm struggling with something:
If you open the page (See url in signature), you see some navigation. Click on one of the links 'Navigation', 'Cards' or 'Forms' and observe the space above the section header. Then, from one of those menu items, say 'Cards', click on one of the other two ('Galleries' and 'Other' are too far down the page to be able to scroll up to the top) and observe the space above the header again.
How can I make that space the same, regardless whether I am at the top of the page or somewhere further down? I have tried to move the section IDs around, tried with paddings and margins, and what I have found to some extent working is, if I have a top padding on the body element and also on the '.contents' container, and then balance them against each other. But I haven't been able to make it working properly, especially not for all widths. What I have now is kind of a compromise.
Can someone see what I can't see? The link to the project file is http://horgenhonning.net/sharing/index.rsd
Ha en riktig god dag!

If it's the first click on a link it stops short. all further clicks result in a scroll to the header text.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Is the problem to do with having a fixed navigation? I had the same issue with something I was working on with Content being covered by the fixed nav when linking to it in page.

You need to adjust for the height of the nav

Hi thanks for input. Yes, that's what I'm trying, Eric, adjusting for the nav height.

And Phil, I think the problem is not the fixed menu alone, but in connection with the shrinking head.

But you got me thinking. I'll try one more thing... ;)

I just removed the layout class 'main', and replaced it with normal class name 'info', and gave those containers a top padding of 60px at the lowest breakpoint. It seemed to help, as attached.

I'll take a look at it, Thanks, Frank.

In the meantime I've been working on this file myself and got it a great deal better. At least the section headers are visible, and the difference from coming from the top of the page and coming from somewhere lower down is much less. It all has to do with balancing the top padding of the body and the contents container.

I have taken a look now, and your solution is also good, Frank. But I think I'll stick to mine now that I have it exported and uploaded.
What actually got me on the right track were
#1 Eric saying I had to adjust for the nav height (I had actually been adjusting for the head height)
#2 Phil's question about the fixed nav (I knew my way around that, so then I started thinking about what differences the shrinking would be causing).
Thanks all of you! :) The file has the same name, index.rsd if someone wants to take a look.

And with this I'm rounding off the year 2018! We have less than 3 hours left of it. Happy New Year everyone, see you 'next year'! :D

Happy New year Inger. I will have to pick your brains about the fixed nav and linking in a page without the content being covered up. Regards Phil
