Is there any way to control where the duped element shows up in the Inspector?

I have a book review page - lots of books going on one line each. Due to the content, it is much faster to dupe existing rows which have the same content in some columns. For example, I have 12 rows - 1 for book 1, 1 for book 2, etc. When I add row 13, I want to dupe row 9's row in order to keep the same elements, attributes, etc. Book 9 was added by duping row 2. When I dupe row 9, it shows up right after row 2, not right after row 9. I then have to drag it down to place it as row 13. It's not that bad with only 13 rows - but I will have over 100 before I am done.

Any way to control where this dupe of a dupe goes? Or any other suggestions? Thanks!!

Select the element that's above the spot where you want it to be inserted on your page. So I do ctrl+c then select the element above the spot within the page and do ctrl +v.

Instead of using duplicate in design, you can select the row from the dropdown and use copy / paste.
So like Eric is saying select the row you want the new one to go under and paste.
You can use short cuts like Cntrl+C to copy and Cntrl+V to paste
or I also use Edit from the very top menu

Thank you very much. I do cut and paste and edit all the time, but didn't think of that. The duplicate is a good feature - just not the right time to use it. Thanks, again.

Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v does work pretty straightforwardly with rows. For duplicating and precisely placing other elements, I have found Inger's tip extremely helpful:
