Drag n Drop and Justifying Elements...

Hi. I am recently installed the newest version of CoffeeCup software. The last time I used Site Designer is when I owned the FIRST CoffeeCup Suite of Software (formerly, Visual Site Designer). The very first version of EVERYTHING.

EVERTHING is WAY more advanced now and I am a complete loss as how to do anything and it seems the learning curve will be as long as it takes to learn to code. I know basic HTML and I learned how to edit a few lines of css, and php code I would borrow from online somewhere where you could get free snippets of code. That was a LONG time ago! I now know nothing!

I am designing a site and I cannot figure out how to center a menu container. I cannot find anything in the knowledge base either. I have attached a picture of the header I am redesigning from the trends template. You will notice the menu container is not "centered" with the logo header.

Please Help~! I have SO much to learn now.

BTW...Is there no Drag-n-drop features anymore? I cannot just drag an image around or resize the image by dragging the corners, etc. for fast design? or has that been taken away in lieu of utilizing all the newest coding techniques?

Do you mean centred with the text "Earths virtue ? (not including the TM) rather that the whole thing which I assume is an image on the left, because at the moment its centered to the heading container which includes the image
because it is centered to the whole thing

To center it to just the text, then you need to change the margins Left & Right on the menu container from "Auto to PX or REM whichever you prefer

set the value for both to 0
then adjust accordingly the left or right margin value until it reaches the desired position

there is another way which is better but it is a bit more involved and some fiddling about at mobile widths and would probably need a HOW TO VIDEO to show how to do it

To me, the menu seems pretty well centred under the logo + page name + TM as a whole. I would think that if you centre the menu just below the actual page name, it will look 'off' in some cases, especially on small viewports. How about having the menu block left- or right-aligned? Surely, it will be 'off', but it will be 'intentionally off', and that is different. ;)

Yes, there is no more dragging the corners, or dragging items around on the canvas. That is not compatible with responsive web design.

The text 'HOME', 'ABOUT', 'SUBSCRIBE' is not lined up with the Header Title 'Earth's Virtue" above.

Nevermind. thank you. I think, although the image header from above is centered and the menu text below are centered they still come out now appearing centered "together" and I guess it will just have to work.

centre the menu using margins as I suggested before

here is a screenshot, the top image is yours :::: the bottom image is one I did with the menu items centred using margins
just a quick mock-up and perhaps the menu could be centred a little bit more with a bit more margin-left so that it centres on the bottom text rather than the header text
