Hi Thomas
I use the foundation framework the most and it is probably the one which most others use too so you would get more help from more users but then there are those that like the others too.
Personally I would do my own layout from scratch but then I have years of experience, I know a lot of newbies to both site designer and designing etc use themes and most of them struggle too and find it difficult to change things around.
It also depends on how much time you are able to dedicate to your project.
I have a set of step by step tutorials which I am updating at the moment to bring them up to the latest version of site designer, one of them is something I call a page a day step by step, not that it takes me a day to do a page but people watching a video and following have to stop rewind etc quite a lot . I can let you know how to contact me direct you could
Use a secure form I have on my contact page to get my email details, If you would find it helpful I will do the page a day videos next, so you could make a start. Or just keep coming to this thread and shout out for help, or indeed do both.
I am based in East Jawa in a very remote rural area, almost off the grid, I was in Bali but didn't like the way it was going and it wasn't as nice or paradise anymore. I still have my adopted Balinese family there in fact my adopted niece has just graduated from university very smart girl and a whizz at computer programming. Will be going to the graduation ceremony next month so looking forward to seeing Bali again only for a few days though
Hello Wayan,
you‘re truly amazing.
So Foundation it‘ll be. Thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction.
And of course I‘m very interested in your step by step tutorials and the page a day is a great idea as well.
That’s exactly what I‘m looking for. The SD Guide is a good reference point but it’s difficult to get started just by reading through it.
Will contact you via email.
PS: You seem to be leading a wonderful life in East Java. I need to be careful not to become to jealous :-)
