Delete button in editing html element...
Is anybody experiencing this problem?.....
When I insert an HTML element, then go to the control pane to edit the html, the DELETE button acts like the backspace button. It deletes everything to the left, instead of from the right.
I am using....
- RSD v1.2, build 958
- Win 7 pro
Thanks for any help.

I am unable to reproduce that here.

Hmmmmm....well here's some more info on the computer I'm using....
- Dell desktop, i5 micro, 2.67GHz
- approx. 4 years old
- 64 bit
- 5GB memory
Maybe it's a 64 bit thing?

I am using Windows 7 64-bit here and both keys works as expected. Also tested with Windows 10 and works correctly there. Sounds more like a keyboard mapping issue in Windows to me.

Okay.....well, I did double check in notepad....tried it on a text file....and it worked fine there.
Oh well, it's not serious, I can get around it, as long as I remember where to place the cursor.
Thanks for your time. Have a good one.

Scott,
I've had that happen a number of times but I just learned how to place the cursor where it needed to be. If it happens again I will try and figure out exactly what I did and let support know.

I've seen this a few times but I'm unable to regularly replicate.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Do perhaps the varied experiences arise from the function of the Delete key being different in different parts of RSD?
My experience is that, while in many parts the Delete key acts as I expect (i.e. the character to the right of the cursor is removed), there seem to be at least the following exceptions, which may or may not be deliberate on the part of the programmers.
1. In the Settings tab 'Keywords' the Delete key deletes nothing, but starts a new keyword.
2. In the Design tab 'Classes' the Delete key deletes nothing, but starts a new class.
3. In the Design tab for an HTML element the editor has the Delete key acting like the Backspace key.
4. In the Design tab for a Text Link, using the pencil icon for Edit Link, the Delete key removes everything to the right of it in all the boxes.
