Using the latest version of RSD - and an SDrive hosted Form.

First - was it OK to change the form script code on the page to use the "Https:" feature? I received an email telling me that feature is available to hosted forms.

Then when I looked at the site information from within my Google Chrome browser I see that there are indeed cookies being set? And I did not apply this anywhere during the site making process.

Are these necessary or required or just good-practice ?????
Can these be modified or removed if needed? Or are they required for responsive goodness?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated

Hi K Spoor ,
Can you share a link to your site that is passing cookies?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Surely its the persons browser that has to be set to either accept cookies or not,, It's not within RSD that happens,, or am I misunderstanding
maybe it's a setting within your hosting provider as to whether or not your site sends cookies

Hi Eric,

http://mywonderart.com

Is the site - then I found that cookies are present by selecting the View site information button to the left of the "not secure" feature Google has started doing. Using Google Chrome.

Thanks - K

Just checked and it shows 14 cookies in use?? Maybe these are just function items, which would be fine... but I did NOT set them up or add to the site during the RSD process.

That's too funny - and that cookie is tied to the Google Maps location of the client's studio.

I was just surprised that there were cookies being served from the site - I did not intentionally add any for visitor activity telemetry.
