I have used cookie consent plugins from 'Slick-Modal' and 'Ultimate GDPR' which worked fine on SD3.5, and everybody was happy.
However it does not work in SD5 at all, no matter how hard I try.
Do anyone here have a quick solution - maybe you know of a decent plugin that does work in SD5.

It works for me in SD, (have you tried putting it in an HTML element on a page?
If all else fails I have a cookie pop-up I made and use for my sites Pretty easy to do and configure.

You need to move your jquery link to above your other scripts. Or move your scripts below your jquery link.

I think I found the reason for my problem hidden in the small print on the web of a plugin developer:

That, unfortunately, does not solve my problem.

Which framework are you using within site designer I just need to know so I can do the tutorial in the right one. Doesn't make any difference which one, mine works on all of them it only needs some js and a little bit of custom CSS. (4 lines or so)
