@ wayan: I have one more question if I may, probably used a hundred times buy you already. I have 6 buttons as menu and would like to have that as menu button on the mobile phone screen with clickable menu.

so I simply add a menu button and add the menu as column in the 'active' or 'hover' version?

Not sure I fully understand what you are after this time Max, you mean you want a responsive menu with a hamburger style icon.

Again this is something RSD doesn't have built in as yet, to emulate that takes quite a bit of jiggery pockery, (or using 3rd party apps inserted into html element in a colunm.
If I get time today I will see what I can do this will be quite a long and complicated one though.

Max have a look at the file from the link above I have made a quick sample showing rounded corners 1 with a border and one without

As far as the menu is concerned it would now be helpful if you zipped up your project and posted it to dropbox, that way I have something to follow for the video which is relevant to your design, settings sizes etc

Yeah, I think so. I tried in RFF actually, because it has so far been more 'developed' than RBB. I found that popping two containers into one column was a bit more involved that in RSD.
Just don't look at the awful colours! ;)

you got it inger
just make sure that you re-select the column when putting more than 1 element in because in rff you can stack containers so if you dont re-select the column it will put the second container into the first container

by the way love the colours

Well, I ain't succeeding in RBB. I can build the structure, but as soon as I add an image (placeholder), the whole container disappears. I did this in mobile size, and when I widened it to middle size, the image was there.

I tried the structure both as you had it, with two containers to a column, and also by creating 4 columns and one container in each. The structure is fine, but images make the containers disappear.

This was in BS 4, I'll try in BS 3....

@ wayan: hello to you :-) I had to check how dropbox worked but here it is I hope: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b8zbb36yy6qyy … f.zip?dl=0

The menu has 6 buttons and it looks ugly on the phone. I tried to make a button link with image and text. I guess that in the active status it would be possible to have 6 small clickable headings in a column popping up below the button link or something? Should I make it and hide it in the regular state? Or can I add it to the container in the active state?

About RFF: I also have that program. Should I switch and try to get to learn that program? Can I transfer files or should I start over again? And more important: is it possible (as the website suggests) to edit manually as well in RFF?

Thanks again:-)

I'm afraid you would have to start over again if you go for RFF.
Nice site, BTW!
I'm not sure how you can get the button row to collapse into a 'hamburger' menu directly in RSD. I think I would have used a html container and added some code, and also a separate style sheet.

Hello from Dark sunny Bali
Inger is right i am afraid you would have to start over if you moved to RFF, personally I prefer that app, but really my suggestion would be to concentrate on 1 app, until you really know it and can produce stunning web-sites :D, but if you are not too far into RSD then maybe not too early to jump.

Secondly it is not possible to do a responsive type menu within RSD, Inger is once again correct, it would have to be from a third party and then placed in an HTML element container, I did my own using CSS for a while back in the old days.

I will take a look at your project file (downloading now) and see if we can come up with some ideas by video for you to try
It might be a couple of days though, as it is starting to get busy here in Bali leading up to Christmas, many restaurants & Bars are wanting their Christmas & New Year menus put up on the internet. I will look at it and do something before the 5th Dec as I am then going into the deepest darkest parts of Indonesia to get away from the Christmas Crowds keep looking in

Have a great day everybody wherever you are in the World
