If not, this would also be an good suggestion.

You can add a container to a column with a subgrid, with a container. So that gives you a div, within a div within a div within a div.

this would be a possibility.
But what i want is to create a hover effect for two containers.
Example: I need an "outer" container for the "states" (regular or hover) and a "inner" container for the content.
I know i can put paragraphs or images into an container, this works fine.

You could still use this method. Or, you could use negative margins with two containers where one container overlaps the other. Just depends on what you are wanting to do.
