I don't know if it is possible to create a container in an container? (div in div)
If not, this would also be an good suggestion.

You can add a container to a column with a subgrid, with a container. :P So that gives you a div, within a div within a div within a div.

Thanks Adam,
this would be a possibility. ;)
But what i want is to create a hover effect for two containers.
Example: I need an "outer" container for the "states" (regular or hover) and a "inner" container for the content.
I know i can put paragraphs or images into an container, this works fine. ;)

You could still use this method. Or, you could use negative margins with two containers where one container overlaps the other. Just depends on what you are wanting to do.
