Column not working as expected - Post...

Interesting problem with the current release. This did not occur on previous RSD2 releases.
Using Foundation, with a 12 column grid.

Had to add another album cover to the site. Just duplicated the first column container and changed the text and the image at the various breakpoints. Simple enough.

Now, when sliding the resizer out, when it hits 972px (which is not a breakpoint) a 'hole' appears at the beginning of the next line. I attached a couple of images to show the effect. I tried previewing on FireFox to check, and it is the same there, except the hole appears at the switch from 2x6-col containers to 3x4-col containers. It does not happen on the current site which was created using a previous version of RSD2.

Any clues as to why would be appreciated. Maybe I had an incorrect setting previously which is now behaving in a different way?

I also noticed some strange new icons overlaying the dropdown to select the element.
Makes it difficult to read what is underneath?

Hi Geoff,
You need to share a link for others to really help you. Being able to see the actual page will make it easier to find the problem.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi Eric,

At this stage it is not a page, it is still in RSD. I don't want to render and update the site until it is working correctly in RSD, plus there is a lot of post-rendering manual editing to do to add the things that RSD does not do.

I will see if I can render a test site somewhere instead that demonstrates the problem.

I duplicated the RSD project, stripped out all the pages except 'index', which is where the problem appears, and exported it online. The hole still appears in the row as the page width is resized (Firefox), which is consistent with what I see in RSD as well.

I think I see the problem already. The column divs do not appear to all have the same set of classes.
Some have:
<div class="columns small-6 custom-400-small-6 album-cover medium-4">
and others have:
<div class="columns small-6 album-cover medium-4">

I will look into this now.

No idea where the extra 'custom-400-small-6' came from, as it was not in the list of classes for the column in RSD, which makes it difficult to remove. Using the inspector, however, shows that all columns have the same css and settings.

However, on further inspection it turned out that a couple of the larger images (which come into play as the size is increased) were 1px wider due to rounding down from the original large size. When cropped back to square the problem vanished.

However managing the resources in RSD is still an inefficient experience. The full filenames cannot be seen (truncated) in order to perform replacements which means a lot of guesswork.

I double click on an item in the Project Resources box to show its full name. That is, of course, still not ideal. I think that showing the full file name just on hovering over the item would be better.
