Changing image in FLUX theme

Hi,

I have downloaded the trial version of "Responsive Site Designer" and I am still trying to figure out how this program works.

I am trying to build a website with the FLUX theme, but I can't change the images in the "Food"-category.

In "Responsive Site Designer" I have marked the first image on this page (the image with the pear in the 'Food'-category) and then clicked "Change" and then added an image from my computer to the same folder and then selected the new image. In "Responsive Site Designer"-program everything looks great now with the new image. So far, so good. But when I click on "Preview" for checking the site in the web browser the image with the pear is back (and my image does not show at all). I don't understand this. The same thing happened when I exported the site to my web hotel and then visited the URL.

When I checked the source code on this website/URL (after I exported the site to my web hotel) I can read the name of the image from my computer that I added to the folder in "Responsive Site Designer" and then selected and change to ... but it also seems like the information about the image with the pear still is in the source code.

What am I doing wrong? Can you please help me! I hope you can understand what I mean.

Thank you in advance!
Kind regards,

PS: I apologize for my English. English is my second language.

Changing images works for me, from what you described you did it correctly. Just to be sure, you are adding the images to the "Project Resources" window that opens up when you click on "change?" When I click on "change," the Project Resources window opens up. I then click a folder (or make a new one before doing that) and click "Add Images." A Windows File Explorer window opens up and I navigate to a image and click "Open." I click on the image if its not already auto-selected, and then click "Select."

Check your breakpoints
Could be that you have changed the image at a lower breakpoint than you are viewing on your display.

Or that you have a breakpoint hidden behind the panel.

look for the zoom buttons on the top left of the silder ribbon and use then to zoom in and out, that way you will see any hidden breakpoints which wont have the new image in place

Thank you very much for your response!
Yes, exactly. I have done precisely as you described. It looks great in the "Responsive Site Designer"-program - the image that I have selected shows in RSD. But when I click on "Prewiev on ..." Firefox or Explorer the image that I have selected doesn't shows - instead "the image with the pear" shows. It is strange.

Do you think the breakpoints have to do with this?

It looks great with the image I have added to the "Project Resources" and then selected in the RSD when I am working with the site in the RSD-program. Something is happening when I am going to preview the site in the web browser and also when I have exported the site to my web hotel. In the source code I can see the name of my image that I have added (it is a png-file) but "the image with the pear" is the picture that is showing in the web browser ...

I believe Wayanjaya is correct here and you are working within a breakpoint. Try this, zoom out using the Zoom feature found to the left of the breakpoints. Are there any breakpoints to the right? If so, move the slider above the breakpoint and you should see the pear image.

This is all a guess that is, as we could not confirm without seeing the project file, or the page online.

Yes, you are actually right!! Thank you and thank you Wayanjaya!!

I am not so good in this with breakpoints. I moved the breakpoint to the right so the image that I would like to have can be showing and I tried that and it actually works now when I click on the "Preview on ..." in explorer. :) :) :) Should I think about something when I do this?

Again, thank you so much Wayanjaya and Adam East!! You really helped me!!

That does not fix the issue, that only moves it. :P I have 3 32" monitors and I can bet if I were to view your site I will see the pear image.

To really fix this, you need to move the slider above the breakpoint and change the pear image to the image you really want it to be. I would also recommend moving that breakpoint down into a viewable area on your screen or removing it all together. Because any changes you make will not show above that breakpoint.

Ok ... it is really good to know!!
It is not enough to just change the image - it is necessary to actually delete "the pear-image" (if I understand you right). When the pear-image is deleted, I can add the image I would like to have instead. I will try to do so. :)

Thank you so much - it was very helpful!!
