It turned out that I had got that mail after all, but it had gone into my spam box.

This thing with one year of free updates is a new system, and we'll have to see exactly how it is going to be. But the way I have understood it, the NEW price is supposed to be $99, and the UPGRADE price $69. If you already have SD3.5, surely, when you buy 4.0 it must count as an UPGRADE?

When I discovered that above mentioned mail, I saw there was a free trial button and a buy button. Thinking it would be a free trial of 4.0, I downloaded it. But it was just the 3.5.2979 that I already have, so then I understood that the buy button with the $99 on it must have been for those who didn't have SD yet.

Why not call this upgrade v4 then? Doesn't it cause confusion using the name 3.5?

I'm waiting for the Site Designer Developer version where you have much more freedom as in Elementor Pro.
Also this freedom to adjust code but will ever arrive with ability to create header, footer and page templates, add pre-made sections.

They never add something new in the core CSS 3 in. There are so many possibilities in CSS, JS. Not all classes are added by foundation, bootstrap framework so it remains too restrictive. Like a more full fledged product where you have the complete freedom to customize Visual and custom CSS. When does this ever even come?

I hope that CC Team Listen to the licenced users that paid their products

When did the email go out. I can't find it in my email. The closest thing I found was one on May 3 with the subject line that says:

"Experience the power of 4 frameworks plus CSS Grid in Site Designer..."

That doesn't say version 4 is coming out. It says that SD3.5 has 4 frameworks from which to choose. If you can tell me the date and/or subject line of the email, I'll do a search and see if I find it.

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.

On May 22nd. The heading was something like 'Check out the free Shutterbug theme for Site Designer'.

I can't wait to see Coffeecup to release a free Alexa / Siri enabled version of SD, with full support of CSS 5, HTML 6, Javascript 3, Flemish and the AlmightyUltimate Framework 1.0. Just to show off. That should keep some users busy for a few days.

Yes, Inger! The email was a bit confusing. Poorly written as far as a communication...in my opinion.:|

I have checked everywhere I can think of (spam folder, trash folder etc.) and have found no trace of the email about version 4. Did perhaps the confusion result in its not being sent to everyone on CoffeeCup's lists of subscribers?

What confuses me is I got an email same as Inger, my immediate thought was that it might be an UPDATE, then on reflection, further reading I realized it wasn't so then my thoughts were, WHY are they sending me stuff about an app I already have with them. confusing !!! maybe Ray has also been confused too & the mail was the one that many people got
