Don't know if we can trust an update appearing on April fool's day but I have installed it with my fingers crossed...

Oh, and CC have made an overhaul of their site too, or parts of it, at least...

Well Inger I will wait and see if you think all is working okay before I decide to download the new update just in case. Hopefully even though today is April fool's day all will be ok

I downloaded and installed the update. Other than occasionally having Flashes of Tony Danza appearing randomly on my computer screen, no problems.







That's a joke, folks. No Tony Danza flashes at all.

Hi all,
well I downloaded the latest update
LOST ALL MY IMAGES/PDF/CC SOCIAL ICONS etc in the resources just like what happened to Inger with the first release of sdv3.5
and there are a lot of them

I have a backup copy of the folder with everything in it, so one would assume that simply add that folder to the resources, hen it should replace the folder that is supposed to be there

it adds that folder to resources, even though it has the same name (& everything inside has the same name)
but links to images/pdf etc still point to the original.

So my logical (well some people don't think my thinking is logical; at all) delete the folder then put the bcak up copy (which is the same folder) back in
that worked the folder with all images/pdf etc now in resources,, but then all the images that were there before, have all gone back to "placeholders" arrrrgh

One of these days we will I hope get an update that actually works without all this messing about

I opened a project and everything is still there for me.

So far you and Inger have no issues with the new 3.5 which is good to hear concerned that Wayan
had a problem so will wait and see if anyone else does before downloading.

Oh dear! Well, I can relate to your feelings about that!
As I probably mentioned, I have a desktop and a laptop, both Win 10. I updated the desktop first without problems, and then the laptop. Now I have updated the desktop, with no problems, and later today I will go to the place where I have my laptop...
I'll keep you posted.

Wayan, that file, whose folders went lost, was that a SD3.0 project, or a SD3.5 project when you did the last update? My file was of course a 3.0 project first time around but is now a 3.5 project. Wonder if that makes a difference...
