You need to embed the video, rather than link to it.

is it your video?

I am a little confused here,, you say you want it to play inside your website, but it takes you to the internet.

It is a Youtube video, which is playing inside your webpage,, what are you expecting it to be like?

You have the video embedded on a page of your site, obviously, but like Wayan says, there is no link from the website http://telgogolf.coffeecup.com to the new page (blank.html). What you need to do is make a new menu item in your navigation and then link to the page, (and probably call it something more fitting that 'blank'), and then you probably want to make that page look like the other pages, with the same kind of colour scheme, heading, menu etc.

I also took a look at the source code of the website pages, and you really do have a thing or two to tidy up there. There is a lot of duplicated html tags that makes the page hard for Google et al to spider.

Hi Inger
Wow what a website !! really complicated way of doing it (but then that's not the problem)
I think that David is probably wanting the video to show without titles/advertising or suggested videos,, which is impossible with the new way Youtube allows embedding, it used to be possible but things seem to have changed

Thank you everyone the problem was right in front of me. I made a duplicate web page and put the embed code on that page and there is was working all of the time.
Wayan I'm not sure what you meant by (Wow what a web site). I'm self-tough. So any suggestions are always welcome. Inger could you point out where the tags could be cut down. I used a lot of HTML because I could not get the SD to operate the way I wanted it to. There is a lot more to learn about SD and I just cannot find where the information is at. I would like to thank everybody for their help and any additional help.

I meant even though it sort of works ok, it's full of really complicated stuff, just like Inger mentioned, so many <body> <html>elements
If you would like to see how you can simplify the layout, reduce the no of <body> <html> elements (tags) Then I could make a video to show you.

There are also a couple of things which need addressing from a designers point of view
1/ The two sliders are confusing & distracting to look at from your visitors' point of view, and the transition between slides is a bit jerky & too fast. The images you have used need improving in quality so that you can increase the width somewhat. It is important nowadays to design/develop for mobile devices, as we all know, but one mustn't forger that there are still Larger monitors around & in use.

The sliders & the text for them at larger sizes are way way too small, it sort of looks too squished up, (especially anything above 17" . Your header is an Image (which is ok ) but then there isn't a proper H1 text header, which is what the browsers & search engines use rather than images, to index/crawl etc

A suggested requirement from Google (not a rule but a suggestion, which if you follow it will help with Indexing of your site) is that if you display a telephone number for people then you should at smaller mobile devices make that number an auto-dial number, that all the user has to do is click on it & it will dial it for them, Google would like that feature because the user doesn't have to remember or write the number down in order to dial it.

All of these things you need to be aware of & how to implement them in SD, in order to have even a chance to get your site indexed with Google (& some of the other big boys in the Search Engine World).

I am also not sure by what you mean " I used a lot of HTML because I could not get the SD to operate the way I wanted it to" I have done the index page using SD & your design, as an example, it works fine. So if you really are stuck then I & others could show you the way should you wish.

David, if you have the Firefox browser installed, open the index page of your site, right-click on the green background and select 'View source code'. (I'm recommending Firefox because it is showing redundant code in red). There you will see that you have the doctype declaration, the html, head and body tags 'all over the place'. Those tags are supposed to appear just once on a page. There is also a lot of repetitions of the title tag, with different titles. The title tag is also to appear once only. There are also a lot of misplaced links to css, js and other resources, css files with contradicting rules, etc.

But this leads me to believe that you have used several individual pages and just copy/pasted them into the site. That is not what you are supposed to do in SD3.

First you ought to decide if you want to use SD3 for your site, or if it would be better using the HTML Editor. In SD3 you are not supposed to write code, just enter the contents into various kinds of containers.

I would recommend that you go here: https://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles … d-builder/ and follow the progress of Suzie's video guide for that simple site 'Visions'. That will teach you the basics about how to work in SD3. If more is needed, Wayan offered to make some videos tailored to your site and your needs.

Also, choose one of those small sliders on the index page, and put the other one somewhere else. It's confusing for viewers, not being able to decide which one to look at. Use the empty spage to make some introductional text instead.
