I've researched this on your forum and in the documentation, but couldn't find an answer. Can you setup your shipping rates with a dollar-based table? That is, some of my customers like to set it up as follows:
$0.01 - $29.99 = $5.00
$30.00 - $74.99 = $7.00
$75.00 - $100.00 = $8.00

...and so on. PayPal offers this option, but I don't see it in the Shopping Cart Creator Shipping menu. If SC doesn't offer it, can it be set up to use the table in PayPal?

Thanks much! :)

I do not believe you can do it on the basic version. However, it may be an option on the pro version soon to be released. If not on the initial release then on one of the updates.

What I'm hoping for in Pro is a shipping discount based on multiple items sold. I sell mostly jewelry with a flat rate of $3.50. I would like to charge 50 cent to a dollar for each additional item.

Hiya Sally,

I understand the need for the discounts for multiple items thing, but I think the rest is already in the basic version. You can already set a flat rate and then have it add a specific amount for each additional item added to the cart. It's a choice in the setup that has a drop down that you can choose what you'd like to have added for what reason. Doesn't have the multiple item thing, but it does have the each item thing as well as a few other variations.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
