What I want to do is create a Package of items that will also allow for selection of specific items. For example:

Package 1: Consists of 1 pair of shorts and 2 shirts.
The buyer will have the option of selecting 2 of the same shirt or one of each of the 2 available.

If you want them your packages to be the same price no matter what they chose to put in the package then the cart can do that. If you want the price relative to what they chose you will have to wait until the pro cart comes out. Which are you wanting to do?

Same price not matter the selection is what I need.

Ok, Select a main item you want to begin with, say, a t-shirt. Once you have selected the t-shirt you want look to the far right of your screen and you will see an advanced type option. When you open that tab, about half way down you will see a little area where you can add to that item. Click the little add option (or it might be a pencil I forget - doing all of this from my head), and it will ask for a title. Title it something like "addons". Below that you will see a little box where you can add your addons. You can type in like socks, pants, etc. You may want to select the option as well that makes it mandatory for them to pick an option.

Sorry, It may sound a little ify, I am at work trying to do this from my head.

All I have to the right is Basic Info and More Options. Neither of them have an advanced type option on them.

There is something called Enable optional field sharing.

Ok, you dont want to click that. But, right above that is the field I am talking about. That is where you add you additional package features.

Yep, and when you do this all you need to do is create a separate Option (you can create up to 5) for each part of the package. So if you want 2 shirts in the package then create 2 separate shirt options, then each Option will show up on your cart as a pull down menu. That menu will allow them to choose whatever you put in that list for each option. Make each Shirt list contain all choices available for the package and this way they can choose either different ones or the same one.

You can see a very good example of this on my site on this particular product which gives a 4pk. of the same item with choices for scents. All the scents available are in each list choice so they could choose 4 of the same kind or any combo.

Nope.. No additional package features. I have the most current version of Shooping Cart Creator, so unless I need to upgrade to Shopping Cart Desinger I don't know what is going on.
