Optional fields have a limit of 5 entries, if I understand what I am looking at correctly. Is there any plan to increase this limit? Or is it possible that the Pro version already allows for this?

Five is the limit in the pro version also.:) I don't know if there's any plans to increase this. Can you create another product and add the addition options to that one.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Keep in mind though that there is no limit to the number of entries you can add to each option; that limit only applies to the number of optional fields you can add.

The five option limit is a severe limitation. That there can be unlimited selections under an option isn't really helpful. I can see where it would help me get more options available but the selection would be difficult for the customer. I have a product with color choices on 3 different parts. I could make those under one option but it would leave the customer with having to choose from a difficult list.

Making it 10 would really help me, but I don't see why the limit couldn't even be 50.

Ok so you have other products that have color or styles choices on 10 different parts? More than 5? Haven't really seen too many people ask for this option, a few yes, and I agree there shouldn't be a limitation there, but I'm pretty sure they plan at some point, to add these optional fields to the Inventory setup so later it may make a difference programming wise, how many there are. Not sure on that, just seems that could be the issue here.

I don't see an issue with 3 different colors on a product, that's only 3 choices in 1 optional field. You have 5 of those to work with so hopefully for now you'll be able to work around it. Just make more products of similar nature until they update and hopefully they will lift that limitation there.

The PayPal API has some limitations in that regards when it comes to optional fields. That is why there is a limit that like. Some merchants do support it and others do not, so we had to go with the number that works for all otherwise we would have to put limits in the software based on the merchant you wanted to use. That could get a bit tricky.

Paypal won't work with more than 5 options, or at least that was the case when SCC & SCCP came out
