logo / banner for store
Been playing around with the software and can't find anything about how to put a large logo across the top of each page of my store--- or even just the store name in something larger than what has shown up.
Also done searches and can't really find anything to figure out how or if it can be done.
Can I put a logo - say about 378 X 198 up in that area? I know nothing about CSS and not much about html so very simple please.
Or do I have to buy cart designer to be able to do this?
Thanks K

Have you checked out the Shopping Cart Designer or Designer Pro? It gives you the ability to customize the header and logo.

CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
I have put a logo type background in the header, and then added another image on top of that, which for the sake of argument I will call my logo. It is 230 x 204 in size. There is a place to include details of your logo in the cart creator when you set up your shop information, but I think the default size is fairly small. I was able to achieve the results I wanted by using the designer which allowed me to change the dimensions of my logo.
thanks -- sounds like I will have to purchase the Cart designer to put a large logo on. Thanks guys.
I have the cart designer, and it won't let me put anything over about 300 pixels wide.
You may have to use a header background image if you want a larger image than the shop logo will allow.

Using SCD Pro, my Shop Logo image was set to 965 x 210px.
In this case, it's comprised of two separate images with a transparent background. One represents the actual business logo and another that serves as the header background. I did this after running into difficulty presenting the elements separately, due to either my unfamiliarity with the software or its limitations.

Yes, you will need to use the header option instead of the logo option. You may even want to create the whole header with logo, then attach it as header. Or, you can attach logo as header and set your background for a set color.
