Is there a module that will allow me to reset some of the settings - like the quantity setting. I have some items set to Chstomer Select Quantity - but others are at One item (I never realized the variable was not set to a default). Is it possible to have all of that variable set the same at once - or is it necessary to do it manually for the items?

There is a trick to do this, but just make sure to make a backup before following these steps. Close Shopping Cart Creator and then locate the folder where you have saved your shop. In that folder you will find a file called products.xml

If you edit that file in notepad, search for <defaultquantity> You can change this value to whatever you like.

Guess this is what I needed to know too hehe, any chance of getting this setting in the "Settings" window so we can choose a default in future versions?

Also, if we change the file you mention above, will that be set back to the normal default on upgrades where we'll need to change it again or will it keep the setting through upgrades?

I'm wanting to know if the default settings can be changed as in which radio button is actually clicked. I just realized that this post was more on quantity already in the box, and I usually set mine to let the customer choose but it always defaults to the first choice of 1 and I have to reclick the let the customer choose option every time. Where do I find that part if I'm able to ?

I don't think we will have any option for that, or at least any time soon. We tread very carefully when it comes to adding options. If we add too many, then the program starts to have a snowball effect and before you know it, the software has become riddled with too many options.

If you make changes to that file, when you open the site in the software, it will bring the changes in. Just be careful, because if you mess that file up, it will corrupt your shop.

kk no prob, I'm not going to change it anyways as I really am looking for a default on which choice you make and not having to click the radio button for every single item to make it customer choice. But... have no fear, copy and paste works great for products and that will do just fine for now lol. That will allow me to just change specifc descriptions and prices and pretty much good to go
