Hi,
it is possible to insert a form at the end of the shopping cart, I mean before the user want to go to check out will find a form where to insert name, address, email address and everything we need to contact him, also if some one doesn't want to pay with paypal how can we give the possibility of paying using bank account or others methods.
Thank you.

Hello Charlie,

You can add a form in the cart section of the shopping cart using the HTML button. You can create a form in Web Form Builder and upload to the same directory as your shop. Then take the HTML code for the form and past it into on the Cart page in Shopping Cart Creator.

Keep in mind though, PayPal does accept E-Checks through bank accounts.

Paypal also has the ability to accept credit cards using the shopping cart creator and also has that built into it where you can choose what cards you want to accept even. It's pretty slick that way.

Also keep in mind on the form situation that if someone presses the button on the form to submit it that it's separate from the shopping cart itself and may give unwanted results if they haven't purchased their items yet. I have not tested this, but you may want to do so since you're adding form objects to your Cart page itself. Have someone test out purchasing an item (or you do it yourself even) and see if once they fill out the form you added, if you can get it to go back to the cart page and if the items are still in the cart so they can continue their purchase. I'm going to guess they will be since my tester last night purchased an item and it never took it out of the cart even after the purchase so I have to find out why that happened, but hopefully that means that the items will still be there if they leave the page and return after filling out your form. You'll need to be sure to include the link to the cart as the return page in your form setup.

Hello Monica,
that's a wonderful tip, thank you.

Wolverana thanks to you for the complete explanation, but how can I buy a "Royal Brass & Copper Jewelry Sets" from your site if I don't have a credit card and I don't want to get a paypal account?

What I'm asking is completely different.
I mean, someone get in our e-commerce and buy some items after that they want to pay but they do not have a credit card and do not want to register in paypal or google or whatever, they want to pay sending the money from a bank account, to do this they need our bank account coordinates and the only way to receive them is by email. For example if you go here - select a product- click Avanti- you'll find a form, is you desire you can fill it with fake info do not worry this is a test site then Avanti again in this step the buyer will receive an email with the seller bank account coordinates so he can pay using e-banking or any other method or he can use the Paga Adesso ( Pay Now ) button at the end of the confirm and will be redirected to paypal.

I hope I was able to explain what I meant.
Thank you and have a nice day.

Yep that explains much better what you were after Charlie. Another thing you might consider is accepting checks through the mail which most people with any type of accounts can usually accomodate. I understand your thoughts on needing other ways to have people pay though.

;) exactly, but how to do that if you can't send an email with your account details, that's why I say that could be useful a form that is part of SCC, not a form from web form builder attached to SCC.

I've read somewhere that the 'alternate payment' method is under consideration for future versions. Meaing that if the customer chooses to pay by check, money order, barter with chickens and beets... whatever. They can still do that and complete the transaction. You choose as to when to release the order upon receipt of said funds and/or poultry.

Huge misconception with PayPal is the registration aspect. You DO NOT need to register with PayPal to purchase something through PayPal.

The only logical way at the moment is to have a page set up that outlines other payment methods. Have who the check/money order should be payable to and the address to send it to.

The pro version will have the means to pay offline at some stage. As long as that is an optional thing that can be turned off by those of us that don't accept offline payments, that is fine.

PayPal standard doesn't require you to have a PayPal account. PayPal Express generally does require you to have an account, although that requirement appears to vary, dependant on which country you are based in and where you are buying from.

You do not need to register with paypal only if you pay with a credit card.
