What I would like to do is create multiple category tabs. So I would have the "Shop Home" tab that is the start and landing page with the information about the store and the featured products. Then I would like two category pages one "Films" which will have sub categories such as "Horror", "Supernatural", then on the second category page i want it named "Merchandise" and have sub categories such as "T-Shirt", "Hats". I have figured out how to get the second category into it editing the xml but find that it is a exact copy of the first category page that Shopping Cart Creator created. If it isn't possible to have this created then is there a way that I could make it so that it doesn't create the menu at all?

These features will not be supported until the pro cart version comes out (which should be relatively soon). In the meantime, your category workaround is through the creation of static html pages. For example, you can create an html page with your categories and have the categories linked to the proper categories in your cart.

Hiya Jason,

I dont' believe any of what you're trying to do is possible at this time. The Pro version will incorporate a Subcategory setup, but it will only be 1 subcategory level (meaning you can have many subcategories in each category but they only go one level in). This should allow you to create a Films category with subcategories for each of the genres and then another main category for Merchandise and it's subcategories for the items.

This will be released soon, which is the best I can do on it's release date sorry, but I do know it should be what you need :)

Hi Jason. Before the pro version is physically released, Scott will publish the full feature set so you'll be able to see all the cool new features that the pro version will offer. There will be many other reasons besides the sub categories for you to make the upgrade to pro. ;)
