Changes at Buy It Sell It, Now...
I started with Buy It Sell It (BISI) back when the monthly charge was $4.95. When the price went up to $9.95 OK as I have more than 700 items listed. Now BISI is morphing into Highwire. While there will be no FVFs, store costs are going up. I'm told that since I have an existing BISI store I will not be affected, at least for now. The new price structure will be:
10 items or less - free and unlimited categories
11 to 50 items and unlimited categories - $14.95 per month
51 to 500 items and unlimited categories - $24.95 per month
unlimited items and unlimited categories - $49.95 per month
Guess where my 700 plus listings would place me. Still I'm told not to worry, the new pricing doesn't apply to us old BISI store owners. We will be able to avail ourselves to lots of new and unique features. And I have water-front property in Arizona!
Add this to the shabby treatment we vendors received at the AVI/ KOA Casino and RV Park this month and eBay's continuing greed, I need Pro ASAP! Please, please!

Unfortunately the pro version is having a few last minute ammendments to the code at the moment Sally, so going to be just a little while longer yet.

Thanks Will, I'll try to relax and be patience.
Here's what I posted on the new Highwire old Buy It Sell It general forum:
I've had a BISI store going back to the $4.95/month price. I sucked it up and paid the increase to $9.95/month, still a good price. I'm told I'm set with the "old" price, sure hope so.
I have a shopping cart created with Coffee Cup (CCSC) basic store software. CC will soon ofter a Pro version of the cart. What I like is building my cart on my computer and uploading it to cyberland. I've had too many Online stores go to the cyberland bone-yard. Will my BISI store be one more pile of bones?
Well, on to something I have control over. Off to empty my RV of stuff so I can get my show stock out of storage and get ready for the March market.

Despite its higher feature set Sally, You'll be pleased to know that the pro version will be able to use existing Cart Creator shops, so folks can use the current regular version to carry on building their shops in the interim period, until the pro version is released. The transition will simply involve opening the old shop in the pro version and then resaving. You'll then be able to apply the new features to your existing products, some of which will be 'drag and drop' and others will be textual inputs (if needed).
Enter theme music.

There will be no theme music to go with the release Eric. Perhaps a few cheers and a few sighs of relief, but definitely no theme music.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
