Is there any way to add more shipping options than just 3?

Please add calculated shipping by weight/location or at least link to the USPS and UPS/FedEx for shipping cost. I loose all my profits in shipping if I don't charge enough, or people complain that I charge too much for shipping.

There is no other shipping option as in the drop down used at checkout, but the way I get around this is to introduce a handling charge in each product.

I sell a variety of items which all weigh hugely different amounts and therefore have widely varying postal / courier costs.

So, in my own case, I use the three shipping options as base points for 1) Ireland, 2) Europe and 3) Rest of world (I'm in The Republic of Ireland).

Then I reflect the differences in shipping costs in each product by unchecking the "Apply Default" box and then setting a handling fee. This will be added to the shipping costs at checkout. So, if you set your three base options at the minimum postal rate for each destination and then enable the handling fee on the products that need the extra costs applied. It works a treat.

It's been a while so correct me if I'm wrong here, but if you choose Weight Based shipping you can add quite a few different options that will show up in that drop down at checkout.

Yes, but that requires hours of calculating cost for each destination, per shipping method. It would be so much easier if it would simply link up with USPS and UPS/FedEx like all other shopping carts do. Heck even PayPal shopping cart will do that for you and it's free.

Yes, but PayPal had a few hundred million invested to build that.

That is however something we do want to include in a future version however. Probably will not have every shipping vendor, but we will try to get 1 or 2 of the most poplar ones.
