Responsive Store Design

Have a few questions here, first, can you design a store using creator and designer software that is responsive and if so can you grab store code and place it in bootstrap framework? Any help is appreciated, thank you all.

That's not to say that it can't be done. It's just that CC Shopping Cart and Designer doesn't do responsive. Once you publish your store, you can always edit the stylesheets yourself to make it responsive, but that would be really tough I think due to its tediousness and time requirement.

Not to mention every time you make a change to your store you would have to redo all the responsiveness.

If I recall correctly responsiveness is planned to be a part of the next (or one of the next ) major updates to these programs. I believe they are planned to be complete rewrites of the code so they will be paid updates I think. We haven't heard a lot on it, but that's what I remember seeing about it. Now that could be 5 years down the road for all we know, ain't no tellin if they are already working on this or if the Responsive Site Designer is taking up everyone's time right now. Stay tuned!
