Ok, lets make sure you have it setup right before we look elsewhere. In order to have the tick box light up so you can tick it, you have to select a product. As a test, just select five products to be shown on the home page. Another thing you can do to test is to add something new like some text. Add it anywhere on a page that you know is displaying properly. Then re-upload. This will tell us if the files are going to the correct destination.
