Menu issues - Designing SCCP home...
Hi everyone
I have today for the first time designed my SCCP home page in VSD, uploaded the VSD, and changed the HTML to point to the images on the server.

The problem is that my 'products' menu across the top is disappearing behind my home page items.
Any ideas on how to fix this, please?
Thanks
Terri

That is interesting. Is the whole page built with the cart program or are you using a combination of the cart and html?
In regards to manipulating the menu location, you will need the "designer pro" in order to have complete control over your page positioning.

Terri, Did you create the page in VSD and just copy the source code to the home page in SCCP?
Edit I looked closer at your code and it appears that you may have used some code generated by VSD then altered it to work on you shop. I see you images are all absolute linked. The problem appears to be that there's no Z index to make the content to be the top layer.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I edited your z-index code on your objects and that didn't make them be the bottom layer. I think a different approach to making the content for your home page is needed.

Hi Chaps
To answer your questions, I do have Designer Pro, too, but that doesn't give you the option of having the menus over or under the main text on the home page
Eric - that's what I did - VSD'd it and copied the source code. Unfortunately, I've no idea what a z-index code is!
The problem is, the home pages produced in SCCP and indeed SCDP are boring. They lack 'oomph' and are just plain text, which is why I spent hours playing with this yesterday, only for it not to work! AGH! Any ideas?
Thanks
