When setting up Pages - under Your Shop > Pages, Why the option for "Don't show anything"? All it generates is a blank page.
Why not - "don't show this page" for a shop that wants the categories, but never displayed all on one page which is what the Categories page does.

If you select show nothing
go to bottom of list and UNCHEC last box (put secondery navigation under home)
you will now get your pages listed under shop home as a drop down (if using top navigation)
Now rename SHOP HOME to something like i do :: INFORMATION,
IF YOU ENTER TEXT ON THE PAGE THAT WILL STILL APPEAR BUT WITH NO PRODUCTS (Google friendly)
