Ebay Sellers! Stealing my images, need I say anymore. I don't really want to trash my images with watermarks, and so I've found the script for a "no right click, save image" but not sure if you can apply it anywhere as the images are drop & drag.

Does anyone know how I could implement a no right click, save image script in SCC Pro?

You can't insert Javascript into the cart. Besides, that script is going to accomplish absolutely nothing. Don't waste your time. Javascript only works when Javascript is enabled in the browser. There are other methods to do the same without Javascript but they can also defeated. Some browsers won't let you hijack a visitors computer, and rightfully so. And there is always saving the webpage and all related content. And finally, screen capture. People who steal images know all of this.

Thanks Tom, always appreciate your brains. I didn't think I'd be able to add the script, but I didn't know it is useless in some browsers!

I have read up on a few forums, and it appears watermarking your images is the only real way to deter them, and they can still use them but at least you can prove it!

I've been playing around with a program that is doing some nice subtle watermarking. I guess this is the way to go.

Watermarking is better than using scripts preventing mouse clicks. If the images are for sale, don't be too subtle. If the images are just web content, I wouldn't even bother, or make the mark very subtle as that just distracts from the overall site appearance. You have to accept that whatever you place on a public web server is in the public domain, so to speak.

I have gone very subtle as I realise images without any safeguards are too tempting. They can probably still be used with the subtle watermark, but it messes it up quite a lot. They'd have to crop out a bit, and at least I'll give them some work.

I guess having nothing is like having no AV on your Windows machine. Might not stop everything, but stops the main problems.
