For the photo gallery and the thumbnail galleries I used other third party software called WOW Slider and Visual Lightbox. If CC sold this type of software I would be using it lol....

Hey Adam.

Very informative article about adding it to Wordpress.

What about adding it to Joomla.

It is regular HTML and CSS. You would follow the same process you have always used to add it to a Joomla site. :)

Soren,

Not that you asked, but if you're willing to walk a bit off of the beaten path with a less well known CMS, check out MODX, wherein any static site, responsive or conventional, is a template. The concept is inside-out with respect to Wordpress (for instance): Instead of inserting content into a pre-baked template, you insert calls to pre-baked lumps of encapsulated PHP, substituting these for structural, content and navigation sections in your static site. ANY static site. (I am talking here about the static vs. dynamic distinction on the server side. Client-side scripting is orthogonal, not affected.)

Sorry to seem a fanboy, but I think that RLM together with MODX will make me some money. I am excited about having these in my toolkit.

Halfnium, how long have you dealt with MODX, and have you signed up for the newsletter? I read your post and thought I'd give it a try, but I could not sign up with them as my username came up as listed as a spammer! Kinda ticked me off. I downloaded the files anyway but haven't installed. Not sure I want to since I obviously won't get any support. Tried to send them a message to ask how and why I was listed as a spammer, but that didn't go through either. Not to impressed really... :P

Gunsmoke, someone else might have used the same user name and sent out spam. Try using a different user name and then you can explain about youyr preferred user name.

Yea, thought of that. Thanks anyway. I'm still kind of in a drug induced state of paranoia right now. Half the meds I take list the side effect as hallucinogenic! :P I think I might start coding if this keeps up. At least I think I'll be coding!

Here's a few things to look for.
Did you put the script links in the head of the page?
Are the files in the proper location?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
